Thrivent Action Card Directions

Thrivent Members.

Are you using your Thrivent Action Team Dollars  to help fund a program or event that helps make an immediate impact on a cause you care about? If  you are we would love to hear about it. If you are not taking advantage of this benefit because you don't know of a project to do, we would like to know that too!

Many of you are Thrivent Members here at OSL. As a Thrivent member, you may have the ability to sign up for a Thrivent Action Team project yearly or maybe even twice a year. This is a great way to help fund a program or event that helps make an immediate impact on a cause you care about.

OSL has used the Thrivent Action team program in the past to help get projects off the ground by using the seed money to help fund an event or special project. Often times we have ideas that are suggested to us that we would like to do, but have no budget to do them.  To solve this problem, we would like to create a list of OSL members that have access to these Thrivent Action team dollars to help fund these types of projects in the future.

As a Thrivent member, your role would be to apply to support a one-time fundraiser, service activity, or educational event that can be completed within 90 days.  A template with all the pertinent information would be provided to you for filling out the application.
Once your project is approved, you'll receive a Thrivent Action Kit, including: Promotional banner, Invitations and thank-you cards,  Thrivent Action Team T-shirts for the event volunteers and a $250 Community Impact Card you can use as seed money to get the project off the ground and make a bigger impact. All of this would be given to the project leader to use for the event.
