OUR MISSION
It’s our mission to provide families with a spiritual, safe, and caring environment that supports growth in social, emotional, academic and physical skills while learning about the Triune God (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) and His creation.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
OSPCC is a Christian center that offers a loving and nurturing environment. We value the Biblical teachings of Christ and strive to show children His unconditional love on a daily basis.

OUR GOALS
To achieve great things, it’s important to have a plan. Our goals foster independence, self-confidence, and success!

SPIRITUAL
	•	Foster an awareness and understanding of Jesus and His Biblical teachings
	•	Encourage one-on-one relationships with Jesus through prayers, both individually and as a group
	•	Practice reconciliation and forgiveness when disagreements arise

EMOTIONAL
	•	Promote a child's sense of security and self-respect
	•	Foster a positive transition between home and school
	•	Help the child define, understand, and express the way they feel
	•	Nurture and respect the child's creativity

PHYSICAL
	•	Promote health, physical growth, and motor development
	•	Model healthy eating through nutritious snacks
	•	Help the child develop fine motor skills necessary for writing and reading

SOCIAL
	•	Develop a child's sense of concern for and respect of others
	•	Support development of friendships
	•	Develop ability to understand the feelings of others and to communicate and work with others
	•	Help the child develop new techniques and ways of coping with others

INTELLECTUAL/COGNITIVE
	•	Promote curiosity
	•	Encourage growth of language skills and vocabulary
	•	Increase independence in meeting and solving problems
	•	Help the child observe and listen, investigate, seek and acquire information, and think critically

Our Savior Lutheran Church is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church located in South Windsor, Connecticut that shares the love of Jesus by serving the people of South Windsor CT, Ellington CT, East Windsor CT, Manchester CT, East Hartford CT, Vernon CT, Hartford CT, and Enfield CT. Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and Childcare is a NAEYC-accredited ministry of OSL, offering quality care for children age infant through 5th grade.
