Make a difference in our community!
Currently, more than 600 children in CT need homes. Provide a loving and safe home to a child separated from biological parents by becoming a foster parent.
Types of foster parenting include:
EMERGENCY CARE–
24-48 hour shelter for a child removed from his/her biological home
RESPITE CARE– short-term care (2 -14 days) for a foster child while his/her foster parents recharge.
PERMANENT CARE– longer short-term care for a child until either unification with the parents or adoption takes place.
We’ve met our goal! Thanks to hundreds of people, we’ve collected $40,000 to build an orphan rescue center in Harambee, Kenya. Construction is slated to begin in 2010!

Our Savior Lutheran Church is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church located in South Windsor, Connecticut that shares the love of Jesus by serving the people of South Windsor CT, Ellington CT, East Windsor CT, Manchester CT, East Hartford CT, Vernon CT, Hartford CT, and Enfield CT. Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and Childcare is a NAEYC-accredited ministry of OSL, offering quality care for children age infant through 5th grade.
